This stool was designed in 1952 for the Cabanon, the house that Le Corbusier built on the Côte d'Azur in 1951, in which, in addition to numerous built-in pieces of furniture, the movable furnishings are also designed as boxes. A spartan yet elegant piece of seating with dovetail joints that highlight the connections between the solid wood panels. With its oval handle holes on all sides, this historic stool is particularly easy to handle. Made of solid chestnut wood, stained natural.
