In contrast to the smaller Fauteuil Grand Confort, Petit Modéle, the variant of the 3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, Grande Modéle (formerly LC3 armchair) has significantly more generous proportions and is a little lower. This tubular steel furniture by Cassina is a joint design by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand from 1928 and was first shown in 1929 at the Salon d'Automne art exhibition in Paris.
