In contrast to the smaller Fauteuil Grand Confort, petit modèle, the 3 Fauteuil Grand Confort, grand modèle variant (formerly LC3 armchair) is designed with significantly more generous proportions and is slightly lower. These tubular steel pieces of furniture by Cassina are a joint design by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand from 1928, first exhibited at the Salon d’Automne art exhibition in Paris in 1929.
