As with a Chesterfield piece, the characteristic diamond pattern structures the seat and back. This is achieved in the Haussmann armchair by Walter Knoll through the traditional upholstery technique of button tufting. The delicate frame of the legs is an homage to the Bauhaus movement. Available as both a sofa and an armchair, it makes a statement piece in lobbies and lounges.
