In 1940, Eero Saarinen and Charles Eames designed the Organic Chair for MoMa's "Organic Design at Home Furnishings" competition. From this inspiration, 17 years later, Saarinen created the iconic Conference Chair for Knoll International - a new, unusual, organic chair shape that is still relevant today.
