Surrounded by fine checked wallpaper and fabrics, cozy blankets and cushions, a good book in hand. Or a comfortable holiday cottage in the Swedish mountains, characterized by natural materials like wood and stone, conveying a sense of peace and tranquility.

With precisely this atmosphere and vision in mind, the ED design was born in our creative director's sketchbook. ED's checkered pattern and earthy tones create a relaxing environment, allowing you to create a personal retreat in any room. The rug offers high UV resistance and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Care instructions:

• Vacuum regularly.
• Hand wash or delicate wash at a maximum of 30°C.
• Do not spin and do not tumble dry.
• After shaking out the laundry, handle the welded edges carefully. Do not fold the welded edges, as they can tear and break.
• If necessary, pull into shape while wet. Lay flat to dry or hang on a wide rod.
• Rinse off the ketchup/tomato carefully, do not rub it in.
• Use a suitable washing machine. As a rule of thumb, wash a maximum of one runner measuring 70 x 250 cm in a washing machine with a 6 kg capacity.

In 1999, Lina Rickardsson founded Pappelina, a play on her first name and the material paper, which she initially used to weave table runners. The first plastic runner followed soon after, appearing in 2000. Over the years, she introduced several more products, one of the best known being Vera. To celebrate its anniversary in 2022, the company launched its first plastic carpet made of carbon-neutral PVC, also called Vera Design.
