Imagine stepping into a library in the English countryside and sinking into an old, elegant leather armchair with a patina that speaks of stories and history. Surrounded by fine plaid wallpapers and fabrics, cozy blankets and cushions, a good book in hand. Or a comfortable holiday home in the Swedish mountains, characterized by natural materials like wood and stone, conveying a sense of peace and serenity.

With exactly this atmosphere and vision in mind, the ED design was born in our creative director's sketchbook. The plaid pattern and earthy tones of ED create an environment of relaxation and allow you to create a personal retreat in any room. The rug offers high UV resistance and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Care instructions:

• Vacuum regularly.
• Hand wash or delicate wash at a maximum of 30°C.
• Do not spin dry and do not tumble dry.
• Shake out after washing, handle the welded edges with care. Do not fold the welded edges, as they can tear and break.
• If necessary, pull into shape while wet. Lay flat to dry or hang over a wide bar.
• Rinse off ketchup/tomato carefully; do not rub.
• Use a suitable washing machine for washing. The rule of thumb is to wash a maximum of one runner in the size 70 x 250 cm in a washing machine for 6 kg of laundry.

In 1999, Lina Rickardsson founded Pappelina, a play on words combining her first name and the material paper, which she initially used to weave table runners. The first plastic runner followed shortly after and was released in 2000. Over the years, she introduced several more products, one of the most well-known being Vera. For the anniversary in 2022, the first plastic rug made from BIOVYN™ PVC was launched, featuring the Vera design.
