The Foscarini company originates from Venice and was founded in 1981; initially, they experimented extensively with Murano glass. They have always worked with well-known designers, but they have also focused on young designers. At the beginning of the 2000s, Foscarini replaced glass with a mixture of glass fiber and carbon fibers. This gave them more freedom regarding the most diverse models and light creations.
